After a long history of turning her nose up at anything sports-related and a couple of failed attempts at exercising, she started CrossFit in the fall of 2013. As someone who never thought the fitness space was for people like her (an out of shape theater kid who was always on some kind of diet, hated her body, and didn’t like sports), she still can’t believe how much she loves deadlifts and cleans or pull-ups, box jumps, and burpees (really). Her favorite thing about coaching is watching people discover they can do things they never thought possible.

She loves the transformations that happen in the gym: the daily transformation of someone walking in grumpy and leaving smiling, and the long-term transformation of someone taking control of their health and fitness. When she’s not in the gym she’s hanging with her wife, 2 cats, and a dog. She also really loves unicorns.
